Marietta, GA : 2 killed in Route 23, Bunker Hill Road crash on Friday, 13th July 2018

A two-vehicle collision early Friday morning killed two Harvard men, ages 18 and 48, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

The preliminary investigation indicates a 2003 Toyota Prius driven by the 48-year-old victim was northbound on North Route 23 when it crossed the center line and hit head-on a southbound 2016 Freightliner Cascadia driven by a 57-year-old Wisconsin woman.

The driver and passenger of the Prius were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the Freightliner wasn't injured.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing their seatbelts and airbags deployed on the Prius, police said.
