MANSFIELD, CT : Pedestrian suffers serious injuries following crash in Mansfield on Friday, 2nd February 2024

State police are investigating what led to a serious crash involving a pedestrian in Mansfield Friday night.

Police said the crash happened on Storrs Road just before 11:50 p.m.

According to their initial investigation, police said a driver was traveling south on Storrs Road when a pedestrian was crossing the road from west to east. Police said that’s when the driver struck the 17-year-old pedestrian.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital.
