PORTLAND, TN : A school bus involved in a crash in Portland on May, Monday 1st 2017

About 30 students were on board a school bus involved in a crash in Portland, TN, on Monday afternoon.

According to a Sumner County Schools spokesperson, the crash happened around 3:15 p.m. on Highway 109 near South Broadway.

The bus was from J.W. Wiseman Elementary School.

Seven children were seen by emergency responders for minor injuries. All have since been released.

A replacement school bus was sent to pick up the students and return them to school. Most of the children have been picked up by their parents.

The driver of the bus is OK.
