Brevard County, FL : One person killed and three others injured in an accident on State Road 528 at Challenger Parkway on Wednesday morning, January 27, 2016

Three vehicles were involved in a serious accidents on State Road 528 at Challenger Parkway Wednesday morning.

One person was killed and two were injured, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at about 5 a.m.

All three vehicles were driving east on the highway when the driver of 2009 Honda lost control and veered into the right guardrail, troopers said.

It spun and came to rest facing west in the eastbound lanes.
The driver of the second vehicle, an empty tanker truck, hit the front of the Honda.

A second vehicle ran into the rear of the vehicle, troopers said.

The driver of the Honda, Raymond Deas, 49, of Orlando, was taken to Holmes Regional Hospital where he later died.

The driver of the truck, Felix Candelaria Bello, 27, of Kissimmee, and the third vehicle, Victor Gonzalez Rodriguez, 41, of Orlando, were taken to Wuestoff Hospital with minor injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
