Berkeley County, SC : 22 year-old Tydriequz Johnson of Eutawville died after car struck a dump truck head-on Wednesday, December 2, 2015

Johnson was traveling on County Line Road in Cross around 7 a.m..

He was wearing his seat belt when the collision occurred and he became trapped in his car.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by Berkeley County Coroner William Salisbury.

Salisbury reported the driver of the truck was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
