Belleview, FL : Several people injured in a crash involving a passenger van and three tractor-trailers on Interstate 75 Thursday morning, January 21, 2016

Serious injuries were reported in a crash involving a passenger van and three tractor-trailers on Interstate 75 Thursday morning.

Initial reports indicate the collision happened on southbound I-75, just south of County Highway 484 in the Marion Oaks area of Marion County, just after 6 a.m. Thursday. The impact from the crash caused the van to flip.

Victims were taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center.

A relative of one of the victims tells WESH 2 News the pool van was taking him to his job at Coleman Correctional Institute.

Inmates were brought in to help with the cleanup.

As of 9:45 a.m., all lanes of the interstate had reopened to traffic.
