PHOENIX, AZ : Crash causes extended closure of East Valley freeway ramp on Monday, 20th May 2024

A crash involving a dump truck caused the closure of an East Valley freeway transition ramp early Monday morning.

An ADOT spokesperson said around 3 a.m., a commercial dump truck crashed into a concrete barrier and rolled on its side at the transition ramp between westbound Red Mountain Loop 202 and Loop 101.
