Morgantown,WV : Power outage reported following collision with utility pole on January, Monday 8th 2018

Icy roads led to a collision with a utility pole which in turn led to a power outage near Woodland Terrace trailer park on Jan. 8.
According to an area resident, the driver was headed down Everlasting Lane toward Hartman Run Road. Slippery conditions caused the driver to slide into a utility pole, hitting the guide wire and causing the pole to break, landing on the vehicle.
According to the resident, the driver of the car wasn’t injured.
Workers are on scene to repair the pole, but outages were still being reported in the area.
