Scott County, KS : Dodge City woman killed in Scott County crash on Monday, 26th November 2018

A Dodge City woman was killed Monday night in a three-vehicle crash in Scott County in western Kansas, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 7:17 p.m. Monday on US-83 highway, about 12 miles north of K-96 highway.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said a 2017 Toyota Camry that was southbound on US-83 attempted to pass a 2010 Freightliner semi-trailer. The Toyota side-swiped the driver’s side of a 2015 Ford E450 pickup truck that was traveling north on US-83.

The Toyota then was pushed back into the southbound lane, where it side-swiped the Freigtline semi.

The driver of the Toyota, Mony Sen Conner, 39, of Dodge City, was pronounced dead at the scene. The patrol said Conner was wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the semi, Luis Fernando Jimenez-Sanjuan, 35, of Garden City, was reported uninjured. The patrol said Jimenez-Sanjuan was wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the Ford truck, Stanton Ray Herrada, 19, of Garden City, was reported uninjured. The patrol said Herrada was wearing a seat belt.

All three drivers were alone in their vehicles, the patrol said.
