Campbell County, TN : One killed, one injured in I-75 motorcycle crash on Thursday, 8th November 2018

One person was killed and another injured in a motorcycle crash last Thursday afternoon on northbound I-75 in Campbell County.
The driver, 67-year-old Patrick G. Romancheck, Sr., from Michigan, was killed in the crash.
His passenger, 62-year-old Patty Rees, also from Michigan, was injured.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Steven Ward investigated the crash.
According to his report, the crash occurred just after 1 p.m. near mile marker 131 between Caryville and Rocky Top.
The motorcycle left the roadway on the right and came into contact with the guardrail.
Both occupants were thrown from the vehicle and transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, the report states.
Both were also wearing helmets.
The report indicates that neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to have been a factor in the crash.
