Temple, TX : Woman killed in I-35 wreck on Thursday, November, 30th 2017

According to Shawana Neely, Temple Police public information officer, around 7:30 p.m. Temple Police responded to a reckless driver call on northbound Interstate 35 near the 303 exit. En route to the call, officers learned the vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into some construction equipment.

Officers arrived on scene to find a 2007 Dodge Dakota with the black female driver still inside of the vehicle. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

The name of the driver has not been released and the accident is under investigation.

The female was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy was ordered.
