Reno, NV : Reno city bus driver struck and killed by an SUV in Stead Friday evening, June 3, 2016

A Reno city bus driver has died from injuries he suffered when he was struck by an SUV.

Police say the driver of the RTC bus was standing in the street assessing damage to the bus caused by a minor collision with a small passenger car in Stead Friday evening when he was hit by a third oncoming vehicle.

The bus driver was taken to Renown hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.
RTC officials say no bus passengers were injured.
