Hebron, N.Y : Woman seriously hurt in accident on Tuesday morning, January 31, 2017

A Hebron woman was seriously injured Tuesday morning when her car rolled over on Middle Road.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 11:19 a.m. about an accident. When deputies arrived, they found 58-year-old Susan J. Allen out of a vehicle that was lying on the ground.

Allen had serious chest and internal injuries and was transported by Granville EMS to Glens Falls Hospital, according to a news release. A preliminary investigation shows that Allen lost control of her 2004 Subaru hatchback when she rounded a corner. The vehicle struck an embankment and flipped over.

Police said a medical helicopter was called but could not fly because of weather conditions.

Hebron Fire and EMS and Argyle EMS also assisted at the scene. Deputy Matt Jackson is handling the investigation.
