Colebrook , NH : 26-year-old man was Injured after crashing his snowmobile into a tree in Colebrook On Sunday morning , January 25th 2015

A man from Weare, New Hampshire, is recovering tonight after crashing his snowmobile into a tree in Colebrook Sunday morning.

New Hampshire Fish and Game say the 26-year-old man was traveling north on Corridor 126 when he came to a right turn around 9:45 a.m.

Riding companions say the man struck ice while turning and went off the left side of the trail, according to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.

The 45th Parallel EMS took Grosshart to the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook, New Hampshire, for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Conservation officers say they believe icy trail conditions contributed to the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
