Maui, HI : One person injured in a car crash at mile 7 near McGregor’s Point on Thursday, February 18, 2016

Maui police shut down a portion of Honoapiilani Highway for a few hours on Thursday to investigate a critical car crash.

Police said it happened around 1:30 p.m. at mile 7 near McGregor’s Point.

Officials said one person was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
