TUSCUMBIA, AL : Two people have been killed in a one-car accident on Saturday, June 17, 2017

Authorities said two people have been killed in a one-car accident this morning on Alabama 247, south of Tuscumbia.

Emergency personnel said the wreck was reported at 7:40 a.m. The accident happened just north of the Mount Springs Drive intersection on Alabama 247 in Colbert County.

Firefighters, other emergency workers and troopers were on the scene.

The names of the victims have not been released.
