Saline, MI : One person injured in a Head-on collision in Saline Township on Thursday night, January 29, 2015

A head-on collision on Michigan Avenue in Saline Township last night sent one person to the hospital in stable condition.

The Saline Area Fire Department responded to the crash between Dell and Marion roads in Saline Township around 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015.

Craig Hoeft, Saline Area Fire Department Chief, said that one of the vehicles crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head-on.

"The (driver) in the vehicle that crossed the center line was the one transported to the hospital," said Hoeft.

The driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene.

Hoeft said the cause of the accident is unknown at this time, but icy roads could have been a factor.

"It was a pretty quick process," said Hoeft. "It happened, we got there, got them out, got them transported as quick as possible."

Michigan State Police responded to the accident as well.
