PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL : One killed and 1 charged in motorcycle crash on Monday, July 24, 2017

A motorcycle rider was arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter after his passenger died in a Monday morning crash.
James David Watson was driving his black Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Candi Bailey when both were ejected after a crash at 4:13 a.m. at the intersection of Front and Middle Beach roads, near the Casa Loma Motel, according to the Panama City Beach Police. Bailey died as a result of her injuries, police reported.
Officers say Watson failed to negotiate the curve at the intersection of Front and Middle Beach roads and lost control of the bike.
Watson was transported and released from the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Bailey and Watson are both from Dothan, Alabama.
