VAN BUREN, MO : Two children injured in two-vehicle crash investigation in southeast Missouri on Thursday, 8th February 2024

Two children were taken away by ambulance after a crash involving two vehicles in Van Buren.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at the intersection of Business 60 at Commerce Street at 8 a.m. on February 8.

State police said the crash happened when a 2007 Ford Fusion was trying to make a turn and impacted a 2013 Ford Explorer.

A 15-year-old was reportedly the driver of the Ford Fusion, while a 32-year-old and two children (13, 9) were in the Ford Explorer.

Both the 9-year-old and the 13-year-old were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff while the 32-year-old driver was checked by EMS on scene.
