Stephens, AR : Logging truck wrecks near the intersection of Hwy. 79 and Columbia Rd. 62 W on Thursday, 26th December, 2019

An empty logging truck lost control and overturned Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Hwy. 79 and Columbia Rd. 62 W., just south of Stephens, near the Ouachita County line. The incident was reported to emergency services around 2:30 p.m. No one was injured in the accident.
The truck was part of a pair of unloaded big rigs traveling south on Hwy. 79 to a pick-up site on Columba 62 W. The two trucks were headed south when they came around a slight bend in the road, then the trailing truck’s brake’s locked and the rig skidded out of control and eventually landed on its side facing north -- the opposite direction it was traveling -- in a large ditch on the western shoulder.
