SALINE COUNTY, KS : Kansas man has died after van crashes into tree on Monday, 4th March 2024

A man has died after his van crashed into a tree on Monday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said that 62-year-old Bennett Kinkelaar was driving north on S Gypsum Valley Rd at 7 a.m. when, for an unknown reason, his van left the road and hit a tree. The van then traveled a few hundred feet and came to rest on its wheels.

Kinkelaar was pronounced dead at the scene.
