More than half a dozen people were injured in an apparent head-on collision at the intersection of two highways Sunday night, authorities said.
Just after 9 p.m., Solano County firefighters responded to reports of the collision between at least two vehicles at Highways 160 and 12 near Grand Island, according to tweets from the department.
Within 15 minutes, firefighters requested three ambulances to respond to the site.
No word was immediately available on the vehicles involved, the extent of injuries or any transport to area hospitals.
