An Ocean Springs man lost his life Sunday in an accident on I-10.
Jackson County Deputy Coroner Jason Moody told WLOX News, Charles Lamb, 34, was the driver of the vehicle that overturned near mile marker 57. Lamb was pronounced dead on the scene.
Ben Seibert with the Mississippi Highway Patrol told WLOX News Lamb's Ford Explorer was traveling west when it drove into the median, flipped several times, and came to rest in the east bound lanes. Those lanes had to be closed for about 90 minutes while the wreck was cleared.
A 4-year-old girl in the vehicle was taken to Ocean Springs Hospital with minor injuries. According to Moody, the little girl is the daughter of Lamb's girlfriend, and she's doing fine.
