CHESTERFIELD, VA : 3 people taken to hospital after crash on Route 288 on Monday, 8th July 2024

A vehicle traveling on southbound Route 288 cross the median and struck three northbound vehicles head-on, Virginia State Police Police said.

The incident happened around 2:40 p.m. Monday. The incident closed all northbound lanes of Route 288 near Ironbridge Road.

One southbound lane was also closed.

Police say that three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
