Tallahassee, FL : A man was killed and two women were injured in an early-morning crash in Pine Hills on Saturday, January, 6th 2018

A man was killed and two women were injured in an early-morning crash in Pine Hills Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened shortly after 3 at Colonial Drive and Hastings Street. Hiran Rodriguez, 27, was driving westbound on Colonial Drive at a high rate of speed when an eastbound vehicle tried to turn left onto Hastings Street, troopers said.

Rodriguez’s Honda Accord hit the right side of the second car, Montes said. Rodriguez, of Orlando, was killed.

The occupants of the second car, Ashley Duncan of Orlando, and Brishauna Malcom of Tampa, both 20, were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, authorities said.

Troopers are investigating the crash.
