Orange County, FL : Four people injured in a hit-and-run crash near Forsyth Road on Saturday night, December 12, 2015

A hit-and-run crash in East Orange County sent four people to the hospital and snarled traffic near Forsyth Road.

The crash occurred around 7:10 p.m, just west of Forsyth Road.

Orange County Fire Rescue had to extricate at least one patient from a damaged vehicle.

Paramedics transported two patients with minor injuries, and two with potentially serious injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol is on scene investigating, and said that the eastbound lanes are closed.

A WESH 2 News viewer caught in the traffic jam said westbound lanes were also closed during part of the incident.

At this time no information was released on the vehicle that fled the scene.
