LYNCHBURG, VA : 68-year-old man killed in Lynchburg pedestrian crash on Sunday, 1st September 2024

A 68-year-old man has died after being hit by a driver in Lynchburg Sunday, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.

Officers received reports of a pedestrian being struck in traffic at 10:16 p.m. in the 1500 block of Campbell Avenue.

Police say the man was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he died.
