LOWELL, ME : Teen girl dead two other teens injured in Lowell crash on Friday, 4th August 2023

Maine State Police say a 17-year-old girl is dead and two other teens are injured after a crash in Lowell early Friday morning.

Police say a 17-year-old boy from East Millinocket was driving a Chevy Sonic on Main Road around 12:30 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle while going around a curve and crashed.

Police say a back seat passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Lincoln, died at the scene.
