HARTFORD, CT : A deadly accident near Trinity College on Monday, January, 1st 2017
Hartford Police are investigating a deadly accident near Trinity College Monday morning.
Police say at around 3:13 a.m., officers responded to Summit Street and New Britain Avenue for the report of an unconscious man inside of a car following an accident. Ambulances and Hartford Fire also responded to the scene.
The unidentified victim was found to be suffering for serious injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was then taken by ambulance to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A female passenger was also taken to Hartford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Additionally, it was later learned that a 12-year-old child was also in the car and was taken away from the scene before police arrived. The child was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
