BOONVILLE, NY : 2 injured in deer-vehicle crash on Thursday, November, 23rd 2017

Two people were injured after their vehicle struck a deer Thursday, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jennifer Rothrock, 47, of Boonville, was driving south on State Route 46 when a deer entered the roadway, deputies said.

Rothrock was unable to avoid the deer and struck it, officials said, deploying her air bags.

Rothrock and the front passenger, Christian Rothrock, 44, of Boonville, were transported to Rome Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, deputies said.

The rear passenger Erica Ross, 31, of Rome, was not injured, officials said.
