LAKE PLACID, FL : Man, 91, cited in Monday Lake Placid wreck on Monday, January 16th 2017

A 91-year-old man was transported from a wreck Monday, and later cited for violation of the right of way.

Livio John Pieretti of Lake Placid, according to Lake Placid police, pulled out from Lakeview Road onto U.S. 27 in the path of a northbound truck. The other driver — 47-year-old Michael Gerald Baker of Alturas — was not transported, according to Lake Placid Police Chief James Fansler.
