FARGO, ND : One motorist dies in south Fargo crash on Wednesday, 4th April 2018

A crash Wednesday, April 4 at a busy intersection in south Fargo resulted in one driver being killed and another receiving minor injuries.

Sgt. Mike Erbes said the crash was reported at 4:06 p.m. at 45th St. S. and 40th Ave.

The driver of a Jeep went through the intersection and struck a traffic signal pole and then a stopped nearby truck before landing on its side, Erbes said.

After being taken to the hospital, the driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead. Erbes said the driver of the truck had minor injuries that didn’t require medical attention.

Names of both drivers involved are not being released at this time.
