Minor injuries in MPD cruiser vs. private vehicle crash on I-85

The Montgomery Police Department says one of its patrol units was involved in a crash with another vehicle on Interstate 85 Wednesday afternoon.

All injuries are considered minor. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-85 between the Taylor Road and Mitylene exits. Authorities say the police unit was rear-ended by the other vehicle.
