COLUMBIA, SC : Dump truck rolls down hill crashes into Columbia home on Thursday, 29th August 2024

The Columbia Police Department (CPD) said a dump truck caused some damages Thursday morning.

According to officials, a dump truck experienced a parking brake malfunction, causing it to roll down a hill.

The truck eventually crashed into a home at the 400 block of Steadham Avenue at around 7:15 a.m. CPD said one person was inside the home at the time of the crash.

Police said nobody was injured during the incident and said the Columbia-Richland Fire Department (CRFD) is helping the people who were impacted.
