Matthews, NC : Motorcycle rider was seriously injured in vehicle crash on Thursday October 16th 2014.

A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a wreck Thursday night, according to Matthews Police Department. Police said the motorcycle hit another vehicle. There were reports the motorcycle was weaving in and out of traffic. The wreck happened on U.S. 74 westbound near the IHOP. One lane of the road was closed while officers investigated the crash.
