Camdenton, MO : 3-year-old boy killed in one-car crash Camden County on Friday March 4 2016

A woman from Camdenton was arrested after a one-car crash that killed a 3-year-old boy.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Leo Balderas was a passenger in a car that ran off Missouri Business Route 5 north of New Missouri 5 in Camden County. The car ran off the road and struck a culvert. The boy died at a Camdenton hospital about an hour after the crash. The Patrol report said he was not in a car seat or wearing a safety belt.
Three other children, ages 10, 9 and 6 were also seriously injured in the crash. The 6-year-old
Troopers arrested Griselda Ramirez-Ortiz, 19, who was driving the car. She was not injured. She was booked into the Camden County Jail on charges of involuntary manslaughter, three counts of 2nd degree assault, driving without a license and two counts of failing to failing to securing a child in a safety restraint.
