PELHAM, MA : Police follow blood trail to crash victim on Wednesday, February 15th 2017
A trail of blood led officers to a man who police say tried fleeing a rollover crash.
Officers responded to the area of 84 Currier Road early Wednesday morning after a 911 caller reported hearing a man screaming for help at 2:50 a.m. An officer arrived and found a 2012 Honda Civic that had crashed into a rock and rolled over into a pasture. The Pelham Fire Department was also called to the scene due to the severity of a crash, according to a press release.
"They're still investigating the collision with charges forthcoming," said Pelham Sgt. Glen Chase.
The vehicle was registered to Christopher Ludwig, of Pelham, N.H., who told an officer that his 22-year-old son, Cody Ludwig, was using the car that night and had not returned home.
