Fort Collins, CO : Man identified from fatal Windsor crash on Thursday, 6th October 2016

A 57-year-old Weld County man was killed Thursday afternoon after crashing into a tree in southeast Windsor.

Keith Bergsrud, of Evans, was traveling east on Eastman Park Drive about 1:35 p.m. Thursday when he veered off the roadway at the intersection of Howard Smith Avenue and struck a tree, the Weld County Coroner's Office said Saturday. The area is near an industrial park.

Bergsrud was pronounced dead at the scene. The county coroner and Windsor Police Department are investigating the crash.
