Logan, UT : A Smithfield woman injured in a car accident on April, Monday 17th 2017
A Smithfield woman was sent to the hospital Monday morning after she was involved in a car accident at 2500 North.
According to North Park Police Chief Kim Hawkes, Holly Laberdee was driving a silver Grand Prix northbound in the outside lanes and was struck by a Dodge pickup when she entered the intersection there.
Hawkes said the truck, driven by Josh Wiberg of Hyrum, was in the southbound turn lane and made a turn onto westbound 2500 North when he hit the car.
Laberdee was extricated from her vehicle and transported to a local hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening, he said.
Police are still investigating the crash and have not yet determined who had the right-of-way at the time of the accident.
