Los Angeles, CA : 66-year-old Agoura Hills man killed in single-car crash on Bouquet Canyon Road on Saturday, April 18, 2015

Investigators with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Department have identified a 66-year-old Agoura Hills man as the driver killed in Saturday’s single-car crash on Bouquet Canyon Road.

Lloyd Jay Farber and his passenger, Raymond Silva, 69, of Porter Ranch, died as a result of injuries suffered when the car they were in veered off Bouquet Canyon Road and hit a tree, according to a news release issued by the California Highway Patrol.

Coroner’s investigators identified Farber Monday but were still in the process of trying to reach his next of kin, department spokesman Fred Corral said.

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Farber was heading nothbound on Bouquet about 10:50 a.m. Saturday when it veered across the double yellow lines, slammed into an oak tree and erupted into flames, killing both occupants, CHP officer Eric M. Stevenson wrote in a report.
