Cocoa,FL : Pedestrian struck and killed by two vehicles in Brevard County on March, Sunday 11th 2018

A 57-year-old man was killed in Cocoa early Sunday morning, after he was struck by two vehicles.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, a 35-year-old Cocoa man was traveling north on US-1 when his vehicle hit Daniel Wheeler near Broadway Blvd.

The driver told authorities just before impact he noticed a person on the road 'not standing'.

After the first impact, a second, unknown, vehicle struck Wheeler and didn't stop.

Wheeler died at the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
