Pickens County, SC : Three Aliceville residents killed in crash on Friday, 20th December, 2019

Three Aliceville residents died in a Dec. 20 crash in Pickens County, state troopers said.

Jeffery Lee Armstrong, 41, Horace James Armstrong, 42, and Joe Knox, 43, all of Aliceville, died in the single-vehicle crash. All three were ejected from a Dodge Durango driven by Richard Armstrong, 31, of Aliceville.

Troopers said the Dodge Durango left the road at 4:20 p.m. Dec. 20 on Alabama 32 near the two-mile marker, about 12 miles southwest of Aliceville.

The vehicle struck a ditch and overturned several times, troopers said.

The three ejected passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
