Oakland, CA : One person killed and three others injured car crash on Interstate 580 in Oakland on Friday November 27 2015

One person was killed and three others were injured when a driver lost control of a car on Interstate 580 in Oakland Friday morning and it went airborne and hit two trees, throwing two of the passengers from the vehicle, authorities said.
Around 12:45 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of the crash near the Golf Links Road exit of westbound I-580, the California Highway Patrol said in a press release.
The first officers on the scene found a badly damaged Toyota Corolla on an embankment between the freeway and the on ramp, the CHP said.
Investigators believe the car was going between 75 and 85 mph when the driver lost control and left the roadway, hitting a curb and sliding into a dirt area. The vehicle went airborne and hit two trees, ejecting both people sitting in the back seat, officials said.
The car came to rest on its wheels, but both the driver and the front seat passenger were trapped in the vehicle, the CHP said.
