Cambridge, OH : Two killed in ambulance crash near Cambridge early Saturday morning, December 17, 2016

A sheet of ice claimed two victims early Saturday morning as an ambulance rolled over multiple times on I-70, killing two of the five people inside.
The Cambridge Post of the State Highway Patrol said theTri-State Ambulance had four medical personnel and one patient when it apparently went out of control while westbound on I-70 near the Champion exit shortly after 2 a.m. The ambulance went off the left side of the road and rolled multiple times, coming to rest on its top.
The patient, Dennis Calvert, 64, of Wheeling, and Charles Mcmahon, 39, who was one of those treating Calvert, were killed in the tragic accident.CAMBRIDGE, Ohio — Two people were killed early Saturday morning when an ambulance lost control and rolled over several times on Interstate 70 in Guernsey County.
A press release from the Cambridge Post said icy road conditions were a factor in the crash.
Members of the Cambridge Fire Department, United Ambulance and deputies from the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
