GREENVILLE, SC : 8-year-old SC child killed in crash on Highway 418 near Fork Shoals Road on Saturday, 27th April 2019

An 8-year-old girl was killed when a pickup truck overturned Saturday, state troopers said.
Investigators said the crash happened around 2:15 p.m. on Highway 418 near Fork Shoals Road.
Troopers said the truck went off the road, hit a guardrail and overturned several times, ejecting the girl.
Three other people in the truck were injured.
The coroner identified the girl as Lashonna Bowens, from Fountain Inn. She died of multiple blunt force trauma, the coroner said.
Lashonna was a student at Bryson Elementary School, according to the coroner.
The crash remains under investigation.
