Teen killed in dirt bike accident in Lilburn Georgia

Police have identified the teenager killed in a dirt bike accident in Gwinnett County last week.The victim, 15-year-old Austin "AJ" Zwigart, was killed Nov. 27 while trying to cross a creek near Arcado Elementary School in Lilburn.Lilburn police spokesperson Nikki Perry said Zwigart and a cousin were riding dirt bikes on private land when the victim drove into the small creek. The water was about 10 feet across and the creek's banks were roughly 3 feet high, Perry said.Zwigart's bike hit one of the banks and flipped. The teen was thrown from the vehicle.The victim's cousin called 911. Responding fire personnel pronounced Zwigart dead at the scene, Perry said.No charges will be filed in Zwigart's death. Perry said the teen lived in Valencia, Pa., north of Pittsburgh.
