Warren, ME : Driver charged after crash on Route 1 in Warren on Sunday, February 8, 2015
A Thomaston man was charged Sunday with driving to endanger after his sport utility vehicle flipped on Route 1.
The driver, Dale Rytky, 52, who was not seriously injured, was going too fast for road conditions, according to Knox County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Tim Carroll.
Rytky was driving north in his Chevrolet Blazer when he lost control of the vehicle on snow-covered roads, Carroll said. The vehicle went up a snowbank and then rolled back down, landing on the driver’s side.
Warren Fire and Rescue removed Rytky from the vehicle. He was checked by paramedics and released to the custody of Deputy John Hansen.
