Waterbury, CT : Man arrested in hit-and-run death of teen bicyclist struck by 2 vehicles crash on Monday October 6th 2014.
Waterbury police have arrested a second driver sought after two vehicles struck and fatally injured a teenage bicyclist.
Police say 18-year-old Eric Delage was hit Monday night by an SUV and knocked into oncoming traffic where a minivan also struck him. Both drivers allegedly left the scene on Baldwin Street near Pleasant Street.
Police said Thursday night 45-year-old Roberto Tellado of Waterbury, the van driver, has been charged with felony evading responsibility and is held on $200,000 bond until a court appearance Friday morning.
The SUV driver, 30-year-old Israel Diaz, was arrested Monday and charged with felony evading responsibility and several motor vehicle charges. He is held on $300,000 bond.
It's not known who is representing the drivers.
