Owensboro, KY : Man killed in wreck near Greenbelt on Wednesday, 21st March 2018

An Owensboro man was killed in a Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle wreck on Gradd Way near the David C. Adkisson Greenbelt Park.

Owensboro Police Department reports say John W. Hatfield, 53, of the 3800 block of Thresher Street, was killed when the rental car he was driving left the road and struck a tree at 7:27 a.m. Wednesday. Hatfield's vehicle was found at the far end of Gradd Way, past GRADD and the Joe Ford Nature Center, near the Greenbelt entrance.
