Scott County, MN : One person dead in single-vehicle fatal crash on Saturday October 8 2016

The Virginia State Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash reported Saturday morning in Scott County.
The crash occurred on Ford Branch Road near Fairview Road, according to State Police. A vehicle ran off the road and went down an embankment, coming to rest in a creek.
The female driver died at the scene. A male passenger was flown to Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee, for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time. State police are still in the process of notifying next of kin.
